The housing for a 360° camera lens
Coastal Optical Systems designed a lens that captures a full 360° view. We machined the housing that holds it, including one of the cameras in the Tree of Life.

The challenge
Panoramic optics only work if every element sits exactly where the designer intended. The housing had to hold the lens precisely, survive a real-world installation, and look good doing it.
