Inconel 625 / 718 · Nitinol · Cobalt-chrome

Inconel, Nitinol & Exotic Alloy Machining.

Inconel, Nitinol, cobalt-chrome, beryllium copper, and platinum-iridium for demanding parts.

Some parts call for materials that fight back: nickel superalloys, shape-memory Nitinol, cobalt-chrome, and precious-metal alloys. We machine them with EDM and carefully controlled cutting, and we'll tell you honestly during DFM when a feature needs a different approach.

How we cut it

Getting exotic alloys right.

01

EDM where it counts

Wire and sinker EDM cut hard alloys without cutting forces or distortion.

02

Material stewardship

Expensive stock is handled, tracked, and nested carefully to minimize scrap.

03

Straight answers

DFM feedback before you commit, so exotic material isn't wasted on a risky feature.

FAQ

Exotic Alloys questions.

Can you machine Inconel?

Yes. We machine Inconel 625 and 718 with controlled cutting and EDM, depending on the feature.

Do you machine Nitinol?

Yes. Nitinol is commonly cut with wire EDM and careful micro-machining to preserve its properties.

Is EDM better for hard alloys?

Often. EDM removes material without cutting forces, so hardened or tough alloys don't deflect or distort.
